The mission of St. Michael Outreach Center/Centro Asistencial de San Miguel is to help Spanish-speaking immigrants and their families in the Baltimore metropolitan area meet basic needs and improve their quality of life by providing culturally competent crisis intervention and support services with a focus on domestic violence. Amazing Grace Lutheran Church is interested in housing issues in Baltimore and currently looking at strategies around inclusionary housing zoning through participation in BRIDGE. The Amazing Grace congregation-based organizing group would be interested in looking at a city-wide inclusionary zoning bill.

CARE is concerned with the health and safety of the community. It was created to form a cohesive community group to look at community issues, such as clearing the trash and graffiti in streets and alleys. CARE is taking an active role in working with local enforcement to rid the streets of drug dealers.

Centro de la Comunidad works to promote the continued successful participation of the Hispanic community in the social, economic, and political life of the greater Baltimore metropolitan region. Centro de la Comunidad provides information and services in health care, housing, employment, education, and the law. Centro de la Comunidad has served as an accessible, bilingual gateway into mainstream programs and activities, delivered culturally sensitive services targeted to meet the needs of the Hispanic community, and been a referral service that assists established entities, agencies, and programs in serving the Hispanic community.

Institute for Community Economics developed the Community Land Trust concept to encourage affordable resident ownership of housing and local control of land and other resources. A community land trust is a private non-profit corporation created to acquire and hold land for the benefit of a community and provide secure affordable access to land and housing for community residents.

CHAT, formally known as Baltimore Community Medical Outreach (BCMO), is a group of University of Maryland Baltimore medical and graduate students that provides community education through neighboring empowerment communities and faith based organizations.  The educational content includes talks on addiction, cardiovascular disease, hepatitis, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and sexually transmitted diseases. Members of CHAT also participate in community health fairs conducting screenings for blood pressure and diabetes and nutrition education.
